Merry Christmas, Happy New Year...Whadda Ya Mean I'm Late!?

So....I've done it again! Good grief, it's already the middle of January and only now I'm making my first post of the year! Hazukashiiiiii!!!!! ^_^;

RL has been a pain in the you-know-where. My boss is just trying to kill me and my mom is just being plain lazy! I'm at work 51/2 days a week and I swear 90% of my time is spent answering the phone and 99.9% of those calls are calls from people who my boss HAD NOT CALLED BACK!!! Maji de okotteru yo! I'm really getting tired of people getting frustrated at me because my boss refuses to call them back! My mom is also being a pain. She's getting more and more lazy everyday. She can't even get up to turn her light on and off! It's getting to be just too ridiculous! I really feel like just running away sometimes to just get away from everything. To make matters worse, it's tax season again and I know that the phone calls will just get worse as well as having even MORE work to do . I just don't know what to do. I want to quit sometimes, but I really like my job and my boss as a person, but it's just so frustrating sometimes. The only thing that keeps me going now is that I know that I'll be able to go on vacation again in May and I already know that we'll be going to Okinawa one more time to visit my relatives there. *Sigh* May just seems so far away right now.

On the happy side, I'm almost caught with all my DVD's. I've got all my CSI DVD's and also caught up with my NCIS DVD's (the Season 3 discs should be here in April!) so now all I have left to buy is Numb3rs. I also started reading fanfiction on the computer during what few hours of rest I have. I never realized how much fanfiction there was as well as how many talented writers there are out there! I've been getting into this one series of stories in particular that takes place in this "Alternate Universe" called "Sylum Clan". The writer is really talented and the story itself is just really interesting and intriguing, and it doesn't hurt that the characters in the stories are from CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, NCIS and a whole lotta other TV shows and movies!

I also finally bought myself an iPod video and managed to buy my favorite CSI, NCIS and Numb3rs episodes as well as all the Gorrilaz and 30 Seconds to Mars music videos that iTunes has. I'm having a ball with the darn thing! Now all I need to do is get some software so that I can transfer my DVD's to my iPod and I'll be even more set! I'm still debating whether to buy some eppies of "Mythbusters" and games. Very tempting, also making me very broke!!!

Well, gotta go get my mom ice so she can drink something *grrrrrrr*. Ja mata! ^_^

Catching Up...Again!

Yup, I did it again! Didn't make a post for another half of the year. This is just terrible! I've made all of THREE posts this year! Count 'em, THREE!!! XP It's just that work has been a pain and I'm just so tired by the time I come home that all I do now after I get home is eat dinner, take a shower, then plant my butt in front of the TV for a couple hours then go to bed. The only reason I'm able to make a post today is because I got a day off for Veterans' Day today *shock*! The other reason I haven't been making any posts is because nothing is really happening in my life right now besides work so I wouldn't really have anything to write about I guess.

About the only excitement I've had is that I just about bought all my CSI DVD's. I have all up to season five of "CSI" (Las Vegas) with season six on the way, all four seasons of "CSI: Miami", and season one of "CSI: NY" with season two on the way. I'm still debating whether to buy "NCIS" and "Criminal Minds". I'm leading heavily towards buying NCIS since I really like the Tony DiNozzo character (he's fun to watch), but kinda leaning towards not buying "Criminal Minds" since it's on the heavy side.

I finally got all of my "Garo" DVD's too. The ending was kinda mushy, but the I really enjoy the battle scenes so it evens out. I also found out that there is a continuation to the story so I'm really looking forward to seeing it and I hope the battle scenes still kick ass, though it should since its pretty much the same staff and most of the same actors.

I also found a new music group to listen too. They're called Ill Nino and their a Mexican Metal band. I found out about them from CSI: Miami. I heard their song "I Am Loco" on a few of the episodes and I really liked the song so I bought the CD and I've been enjoying it a lot!

Well, I guess I've really go nothing else much to write about (now you know how boring my life is right now!). Guess I'll go watch some more of my CSI DVD's! Hopefully I'll post again before the end of the year! XD

Yes, I'm Still Alive!

Ohisashiburi! Minna genki deshita ka?

Boy, I'm just so bad at keeping my blog up! This is only my second post for the year and it's already half way though June! ^^;

A lot of things have been happening and I've been really busy at work as well as just getting back a couple weeks ago from my yearly trip to Japan.

Like I mentioned before, my boss took another job working for the City and County, so I'm all by myself all day most of the time. My boss will pop in every once in awhile to check out his messages or to look for a file and then go back to his other job. I never see him now except on Saturdays for a couple of hours since the tax season rush is over and I go home at my regular time of 5:00 p.m. and he doesn't get back to our office until after 7:00.

Anyway, this tax season has been just totally exhausting! Not only did I have my payroll's and corporation bookkeeping to do, but I also did basic work on a lot of the individual income tax returns by filling out as much of the information that I could on the organizers and putting all the information given by the client in order so that my boss wouldn't have to go searching through all the papers and taking up too much time to work on the returns. I also had to do my usual inputting, correcting, printing and assembling the returns after my boss went through the organizer. I also ended up trying to do most of the extensions by myself so that we could get the extensions out on time. We actually finished one hour earlier than we usually do which was nice, but man, was I TIRED!!!!!!!

Even though the initial rush is over, work still sucks since the phone rings continuously, partly because my boss is taking so long to finish tax returns, partly because he NEVER returns his phone calls unless I beg him to call certain people. He finally got a new phone system which I (yes I had to setup the phone system!!!! XP) just set up today. At least now I don't have to answer the phone every single time since the system has an answering machine. Now if only my boss would get caller ID I'd be set!! XD

I just got back a couple of weeks ago from my annual vacation to Japan and had a lot of fun! This year we went to Osaka first and stayed a few days there just eating A LOT and revisiting some of the tourist spots that we hadn't seen in a few years to see if anything had changed. We then went to Okinawa for about five days to visit our relatives who live in Naha. My uncle is in the military and just got transferred to Naha at the beginning of this year so they told us to come visit this year as they are supposed to only stay there for a couple of years.

It's a good thing my Aunt and Uncle live there since there is only a bus system in Okinawa or else you have to take a taxi or drive yourself. All the sightseeing spots are just so far away from each other! My aunt drove us around to go sightseeing since she hadnt's gotten to do much herself (she used us as guinea pigs!) so we all got lost together. My aunt drove and my sister and I helped to navigate, though my sister did most of the navigating since she was in charge of the map. When we went north to see the spots in Nago it took an hour and a half just to get there by car! In Nago we saw the world's largest aquarium. It was huge! The main tank is so large that 3 whale sharks have room to swim around in it! My sister loved it! We also stopped at the Pineapple Park and got to sample their Pineapple Wine as well as a lot of other pineapple goods such as cakes, juices, beauty products and of course pineapples! They also carry a lot of the other goods that Okinawa is known for which is sugar cane and this citrus fruit that they call Shiquasa (?). It's a lemon-lime kinda fruit. It was really fun and we bought a lot of omiyage there. We ended up eating in a buffet restaurant near "America Town" where they had this majorly delicious miso soup! I had like four or five bowls of soup. I hardly ate any of the other food! We also stopped at this really little "foot onsen" located outside one of the hotels nearby. It's actually just a strip of water where hot mineral water is piped in and you are supposed to rest your feet and legs in it. It felt very good and it was very relaxing!

The next day we went south and got lost looking for Okinawa World. It was really hard looking for it because the signs were no help whatsoever! Okinawa World is located in the same place as the Gyokesendo caves so some of the signs said Okinawa World and some of the signs just said CAVE! It was a good thing my sister and I can read some kanji so we figured out that the cave signs were also for Okinawa World. After we FINALLY found Okinawa World we spent most of the day there. It was actually really fun. We got to see an Eisa dance program which was really entertaining and the lunch we ate at the restaurant was really delicious!

The next day we went looking for Ryukyu Village. It was really interesting in that the village is built like an actual Ryukyu village was built long ago and they feature a lot of the crafts that were done such as weaving, printing, and making musical instruments. There was also a dog there named Kai. It was a Ryukyu breed and it was so cute! When we called him he reluctanly came out of his home (since it was so dang hot! I probably wouldn't want to come out into the hot sun either!) and we played with him a little.

We stayed at the Hotel Royal Orion which is located on the main tourist strip in Okinawa know as "Kokusai Dori" or Kokusai Street. There are a lot of touristy stores and a couple of shopping arcades so we pretty much spent a whole day walking through the arcades and laughing at some of the tourist souvenirs they were selling.

The final day we spent walking around "America Town" which is actually a town near Kadena Air Force base. Since so many Americans hang out around there it's known as "America Town". We walked all around the stores, had some drinks at Starbucks (they were in the middle of a Banana promotion!) and watched some street performers. My sister who usually NEVER buys clothes in Japan actually found a couple of t-shirts that she really liked and bought them. I must admit the designs were really nice!

We spent the last three days of our vacation running around Tokyo buying all of our "toys". I read a manga that is not sold over the internet nor can the local Japanese bookstore here bring it in since the publishing company will not sell there goods overseas. I had to buy those first and ended up finding two more titles from the publishing company that I liked! Gads, now I have three titles to buy every year! I also bought a bunch of CD's that I decided to look for while I was in Japan and also some DVD's. One of the DVD's I bought was "Garo". I had been trying to decide whether or not to buy the DVD's before I went on vacation since Amazon Japan was showing it to me. When I saw it in Japan I decided that since I had the money. I would buy it and if I liked it I would keep buying it. I LOVE IT! The action scenes are cool! The costumes are cool! The actors are cute!!!! XD

Well, I got some DVD's that I just rented today to go and watch so I better end my post here before any poor soul who happens to stumble onto my ramblings falls asleep (unless they're already passed out!)

Osokunatte Sumimasen!

OMG! My first post of the year and it's already the end of February! Hontouni dame desu ne watashi! ^^;

It's just that it's been so busy that I haven't had time to do very much. Because my boss is never in the office during the day, I spend half my time answering the phone. To make things worse, he doesn't return half his calls so I end up taking calls from the same people the next day (and sometimes two or three days after that! ) . The other half of my time is spent TRYING to keep up with my work and doing Randy's work so that he doesn't fall behind too far. I've been pretty much been working from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30-8:00 p.m. every night since the beginning of this month and I'm already soooooo tired! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to keep this up for very long. I am definitely going on vacation in May NO MATTER WHAT!

The other bad news is I owe taxes this year! WAAAAAHHHH!!! Oh well, it's because I got all that extra money doing clerical work for my boss so I ended up having to pay self-employment tax so I owe a couple hundred to Uncle Sam and another hundred to the State. I really don't like doing the extra work since I don't have all that much free time as it is but, he was kinda adamant about it so....*sigh* I gotta learn to be more assertive and say no more often I think.

The washing machine broke a couple of weeks ago so we ended up having to buy a new machine. My mom, being the crazy woman she is, told me to go to this store in Kaimuki to get a new washing machine. I walk there only to find out that they aren't open on Sundays! Ended up, she called them the next day and we had a new machine installed on Tuesday. Had to wash two weeks worth of clothes which took up all three lines in the garage so my poor sister couldn't do her laundry till the next week.

My mom also had someone come to trim our Plumeria tree in our back yard. The guy totally boloed it! It looks awful, but the good thing is that I don't have to rake leaves for awhile in the back yard! ;P

Well, I should soon be receiving my order for the month from Amazon. I'm really looking forward to getting my order since my "Ghosthunt" #9 is in the order! I had to wait almost two years for this book to come out! I glad it's finally coming! I also have my Kamen Rider Hibiki DVD and my Kamen Rider Agito Movie coming as well as a couple of doa CD's.

I finally got to see the end of Kamen Rider Hibiki & Mahousentai Majiranger. I must say, I really enjoyed this KR series. It started out a little slow, but it got pretty good at the end. Majiranger on the other hand wasn't quite as good as I had hoped although the ending was pretty cute. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new series, Kamen Rider Kabuto & Boubou Sentai Boukenranger. They both look fairly interesting.

Looks like I've already typed quite a bit. That's what happens when I don't post regularly! Well I'll try to post a little more regularly (I'll TRY!!! XD) so that I can keep up my blog a little better! Ja mata ne! ^_^

I did it again! Been over a month since I've posted anything! I'm so bad at this!

Anyways, Happy Holidays everyone! Hope everyone is finished with their Christmas shopping! I'm not done yet. Still got a little more to go then I'm done. My brother & sister both scored this year. My sister is a SMAP fan & their concert DVD just came out so I bought one for her. $115! O.O I'm also buying my brother the iPod Video since his old iPod is starting to die. Gads, I don't even have enough money to buy myself a laptop computer! XP

My family will be celebrating Christmas one week early. One of my aunties is married to a military person and he will be transferring to Okinawa for 2 years. They'll be leaving before Christmas so we'll be having our Christmas party tomorrow instead of next week. I'm a little sad since I really like my auntie & uncle, but it also gives my sister and I an excuse to go to Japan again next year! XD

After all my Christmas shopping I'm a little broke since I also bought my normal DVD and comics from Amazon Japan. I got my "Bleach" Vol. 20 manga *YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!* and of course they cut the story off and left me hanging *grrrrrrrrr*! Also bought "Kami to Sengoku Seitokai" Vol. 5 (getting very interesting & got lots of action!) & "Trinity Blood" Vol. 5.

I bought a bunch of doa CD's and I love them all! I really have to thank Natsume Maya for turning me on to this group! I bought a couple more singles and their last CD "Open d" and I loved all the songs! I'm going to be buying their new CD "Candle" next month! I also got another Rider Chips single and the song "Koware Mono" by Shiratori Maika. The song was the theme song from "Kasouken No Onna 5" and it just grew on me so I finally bought it.

I finally got all of the TV series for Kamen Rider Agito. Now all I have left to buy is the Special and the movie! I also got Vol. 5 of Kamen Rider Hibiki and the episodes from this volume should be getting more and more interesting! I bought this movie that had Shirakawa Yujiro in it called "Maggy's Inu Jr.". It's a little strange (kinda verges on S&M!), but it's interesting, and it's so ridiculous in some parts that it's hilarious! I actually watched most of this movie on the net, but when I went on vacation in May, they showed the last two episodes while I was gone and when I got back, they had already stopped showing it. I really wanted to see what happened at the end so I ended up buying the DVD. It comes with a CD since Oikawa Nao & Shirakawa Yujiro sing the ending theme song. I really like Shirakawa Yujiro (since he's so darn good looking!), but the boy can't sing so good. Well, at least he doesn't sing enka type songs so good. The song itself is not so bad, but the singing...*shudder*!

My iPod Is Happy!

Wow, I'm actually making a new post before a month has passed! Amazing! Kiseki da!! XD

I am officially broke again! My order from Amazon Japan and my V6 CD came in this month so my credit card is crying!
My order was pretty huge this month since I ordered a whole bunch of CD's and comics again. Of course I had one KR Agito (10) & one KR Hibiki (3) DVD in the order. I also ordered my Hero Vision (20) magazine. It was pretty interesting this month since there were more articles on the Kamen Rider Hibiki actors. As far as manga goes I got my Bleach (19) (I think I wrote that I was getting 20 last time...I'm getting ahead of myself! I wish I was getting 20 already!), Zan no Io by Yoshikawa Utata ( one of my favorite manga artists!), Hunter x Hunter (22), Gindama (9), Coccoon (2), Shonen Tantei Inugami Geru (2) and 3 yaoi comics. I ordered a whoooooooole bunch of CD's (which explains the title!) as well as receiving my new V6 CD from Hakubundo. In all I ordered 8 CD's though all except my V6 CD were singles. I got D-technoLife by UVERworld & Houkiboshi by Younha (opening & ending themes for the Bleach anime), Flashback by 'Rin (Theme song from KR Hibiki movie), Glamorous Sky by Nana Starring Nakashima Mika (from the NANA movie soundtrack), Odoru Ponpokorin by B. B. Queens (opening theme from Chibi Maruko-chan, damn catchy song!), Kizuna by Orange Range, Right Now by Love Psychedelico (song grew on me after I kept hearing it in a commercial!) and of course my V6 CD Musicmind!!! All the songs on the V6 CD are really good, but I think the 20th Century song has to grow on me a little more. *sweat*

Yesterday was video rental day, but because my VCR just broke down I didn't rent to many videos to watch. I rented "Mayonakachu No Yaji-San Kita-San" since Bonita said it was good. I haven't watched it yet as I'm saving it for tomorrow night when I have nothing to watch. I also rented this new show called "Hiramekin Gold". Basically it's a sports show, but the main thing on the show is the Celebrity Super Dodgeball tournament. The main reason I'm watching the show is because Shirakawa Yujiro is on one of the teams known as the Samurai Heroes. The team is made up of actors and actresses who had previously appeared on various Sentai series. So not only do I get to see Yujiro, but I also get to see Sainei Ryuji and Yamamoto Kohei!! So far on the tape, the Samurai Heroes team is 1-1. I went to the homepage to check it out and found out that they're actually 1-2 already! Yabai yo! Hope they do better this coming week. Ganbatte guys!!! The one thing that really suprised me was that Izam was on the main team (Hiramekin Team) and he's actually pretty good! He seems to be really soft, but in actuality, he's a really good athlete! His father is a former professional baseball player, and he was a really good athlete while he was going to school so he does really well in the tournament. It was pretty suprising to see! The show is actually pretty interesting watching all the comedians and actors really playing hard and getting into it so I'm looking forward to watching the next tape!

I Give Up!

It's been over a month since my last post! I'm getting so bad about keeping my blog up! XP

It's been very hectic for me lately both at work and at home. My boss let the internet connection at work lapse so I can't get on the internet at all at work and my brother has been using the computer at home to do his homework so I can only get on once in awhile. Hopefully I'll be able to get on a little more at home. *fingers crossed*

Work has been a nightmare these past few days. My boss is running around like a chicken without a head right now. His father has dementia so everyday he goes home to check on him. He just got divorced a little while ago and had to move in with his aunt who lives behind his father. Just last week his aunt had a heart attack and a stroke and is in the hospital. To top it off, he decided to take a job with the City & County to earn a little more money. This means that he was never in the office all day since he was at City Hall, and only worked in our office for about an hour early in the morning, at night and on the weekends. I had to take phone calls and make up excuses like he's out running errands, he's with a client, he's on the other telephone line, etc. He usually never returned the phone calls so the same people called everyday A LOT of times during the day! Drove me nuts! I really hate Alexander Graham Bell!!! X(

Today was the deadline for the second extension so many people were calling to see if their returns were ready. I worked on a lot of returns myself, but my boss never checked them so they're still sitting on the desk. Hopefully he'll get to them eventually. If he could just find the time to check it he'd have a whole bunch of returns done already. Today was also the due date for federal & state withholding taxes so I had to make a bank run & go to the State Tax Office. Today was a bad day to be walking around outside. The tradewinds were weak so it was really hot outside! I was sweating to death! *bleah* I had people coming in to pick up their returns & dropping of checks, payrolls to do, letters to type for my boss, tax returns to assemble.... I'm really worn out right now. And to think I can look forward to doing most of the same things again tomorrow! Whoopee! >.<

Not everything that has happened has been bad. I just got my new V6 single "Orange" this past Saturday. I got the regular edition since it has an extra track on it, and I figured I could live without the DVD. The songs are really good & I'm looking forward to hearing 20th Century's song "Innocence" when it's starts playing as the opening theme to "Eyeshield 21" in December!

I received my order from Amazon at the beginning of the month and got my "KR Hibiki" & "KR Agito" DVD's (I'm getting there! Just a little more to go & I can start buying "KR Ryuuki"!) as well as Matsuda Satoshi's "Vampire Host" DVD Box. I must say "Vampire Host" is a lot better than I thought it would be. It's a little corny at times, like when Matsuda Satoshi transforms into a vampire, but overall I enjoyed the drama. It's really funny and the storylines were actually really interesting. The chemistry between Konata Minako (?) and Matsuda Satoshi is really good. They were really funny together. I got a bunch of manga that included my Gokusen (12), Holyland (10), Kami To Sengoku Seitokai (4) and a couple of yaoi ones by one of my favorite artists, Chitose Piyoko. I also bought a couple of CD's by doa (the song that Natsume Maya uploaded for me!) and Rider Chips. I bought my own copy of the doa CD because I wanted to hear some other songs by them. I liked the other two songs on the CD so much I decided to start buying some of their other CD's as well. I love my Rider Chips CD too! It includes some songs that appeared on some of the other Kamen Rider series and they have some other songs as well. Almost $300 worth of stuff in that box. Now you know why I'm broke all the time! XD

I'll be getting another shipment from Amazon next week some time so I'll be broke again since it's another $300 worth of stuff. I bought more CD's and manga (my Bleach 20 is coming!!!!!! Otanoshimiiiiiii!!!!!!!)as well as a couple of magazines (Hero Vision 20!!!!!) so more songs to load onto my iPod and more things to read! Yay!

Catch Up Time (Again!)

Boy, I'm getting really bad at keeping up my blog! Terrible! It's just that it's so busy right now. My boss is trying to keep up with his work which in turn means I have to work more, and I also have his political work to do too. I finally finished inputting more deposits into the database the other night. Took me a whole week to get everything punched in! It's a good thing I'm getting paid for doing the inputting or I'd run away & hide! ^^"

The Little League team from Ewa Beach won the Little League World Series last week, and it's been a BIG story here. Everyone is so proud of the way the boys conducted themselves on and off the field, especially ON the field! The game against Curacao was really exciting, too bad I didn't watch the end since I was cleaning my room! XP
I didn't have to see anything though, to know that they had won since the people up the street were watching the game and were screaming their heads off! XD The City & County will be sponsoring a parade for the boys on Monday and will be showing a replay of the game on the beach after the parade. I guess it'll be awhile before things go back to normal for those boys!

I just put in my order for this month to Amazon Japan so I'm broke again! I ordered Matsuda Satoshi's "Vampire Host" drama box set. I have no idea how it is, but it looked and sounded interesting so I decided to give it a try. Hopefully it'll be a good find like "Mail" was. I also ordered a CD by Rider Chips. It's a group that has "Yocchan-san" in it (former Tanukin Trio!). They've done a lot of the songs for the various Kamen Rider series soundtracks and put the songs on one CD. So far I've liked all the songs I've heard by them from Ryuuki & Blade, so I decided to just go ahead & buy the whole CD. Natsume Maya from JDorama also got me hooked on this song from Ultraman Nexus called "Hideo" by the group Doa. It's really catchy! The group kinda sounds like B'z on this song in my opinion. Since there were a couple of other songs on the maxi single I decided to buy it so I could hear some of their other songs. If I like those I might think about buying more of their CD's. I also have "Gokusen" 12 in my order (comic) & can't wait to read it! I love the manga more than the drama since there's so much more in the manga that they can't show on a TV drama. It's hilarious! Naturally, I also have one Kamen Rider Hibiki & Kamen Rider Agito DVD in the order too!

Last, but not least Hurricane Katrina. Man, that is an awful sight! To see a whole city gone! So many deaths, so much loss. It's just heartbreaking to see. Even worse is the looting and chaos that's happening there. I'm so glad that I've never had to go through something like that & I hope I never will! I've already made a donation to Red Cross, but still, it just seems like such a huge mountain to get over. I hope that the people in those areas will stay strong and be able to get back on their feet again.

Heh, sorry about the title. Couldn't really think of one!

Well, it's finally Friday, which means that tomorrow is Saturday! Which means I only have to work 1/2 day! *bleah*

At least tomorrow I get to rent videos! Hopefully the second tape of Shin Kasouken No Onna has come in. I'm really looking forward to watching this series for two reasons. One, I already like this series to begin (since I looooove detective dramas!) and second, Morimoto Ryoji is gonna be in the series this time as a detective! Otanoshimiiiiii!!!! I saw a few pics of Ryoji in his suit & I must say he looks quite handsome!

I got my DVD's from Buruburu the other day and found out for sure that I can't play the DVD's on my DVD player so I have to sit in my mom's room to watch the disks on the computer. Oh well. But the discs work great & I get to watch the series all over again so I'm still happy! ^^

I'm now officially broke again since I bought two DVD sets from Yahoo Japan auctions. I've been looking forever for volume 6 of the TV Drama "Quiz", but no one has it. I saw a set for sell on Yahoo Japan auctions for $30.00 so I bid on it and won it. I also got a five DVD set of "Botan To Bara". I got these DVD's because Shirakawa Yujiro is in this show, and the DVD's they were selling were the exact ones that he appears on so I bought those too! (Yujiro, you're making me poor!!! ^^;). The only problem is that the proxy service that I used to buy the DVD's charges really high fees so I ended up paying an extra $30 in fees for each set of DVD's. That's an extra $60!! Oh, well it's still cheapher than if I bought it from a regular store.

Okay, enough for now, I gotta go finish watching "Kamen Rider Agito" Vol 6! Ja ne!!! ^_^

Wow, it's been half a month since I last posted! Time sure flies when you're bogged down at work! I didn't think I would be away this long a time, but it's just been a really busy few weeks for me.

Work:
Work has been crazy because my boss is still flying work at me. The end of July was a nightmare! I had to finish filling out quarterly tax reports, collect checks for the quarterly payroll taxes, fill out reports and collect checks for the state general excise taxes and input both individual and corporation income taxes.

He also made me go and get a tax clearance for one of our clients. I absoluted hate going to get tax clearances because they take so much time. I usually end up waiting around for at least 45 minutes to an hour waiting for the clearance to be worked on. If I have to go to both the state tax office & the IRS then it usually takes close to 2 hours! I have to take a book with me to read to occupy my time or else I end up sitting around and zoning out. >.<

I also had to input information for deposits and expenses for my boss for his political junk. There is a supplmental report that is due at the end of July and January that shows the candidates expenses and contributions received. It was a lot of work and I ended up using a lot of my own free time to finish the report since it was also due at the same time as all the other reports.

Tonight they are having a fundraiser so that means I'll have to make deposits for the guy and then input the deposits into the computer again either tomorrow or Friday. XP

Home:
July is Obon season so we went to Obon service at Soto Mission one night. Of course it was HOT and the sermon was looooooooong. -.- zzzzzzzz

Another night we had to take my uncle & aunty out to dinner since they're moving to Seattle to live closer to their daughter. My mom took them to Hanaki restaurant at the Manoa Marketplace. The have a Japanese buffet menu, but I don't particularly like their food. It's not bad, but it's not anything special either and the sushi is kinda junk. At least one of my uncle's enjoyed his dinner. He ate 2 heaping platefuls of crab legs before he even ate his actual dinner! O_O

Lsst week we had to attend my grandfather's 17th year service so we had to go back to Soto Mission and it was hot again! At least the sermon wasn't as long and the service was short since we were the only people at the service.

Also, the computer here at home has been acting up. The AirPort hasn't been working so good. Sometimes we can't connect to the internet at all. Sometimes we can connect, but then the connection becomes really slow then cuts off. When we try to log on again, we can't get on at all. My brother has been trying to fix it so hopefully it'll work all right from now on.

While the computer wasn't working I decided to catch up on watching my DVD's. I finished watching my Kamen Rider Blade DVD's since I just received the last DVD in the set last week. Also, I bought the DVD's for Suga Takamasa's internet drama "Mail" which also stars Kuriyama Chiaki. It's supposed to be a horror drama, but it's not really that scary as it is interesting. There's something about the drama that keeps you watching to see what happens next. I'm almost finished watching it. I have two more episodes to watch then I'm going to finally finish watching "Damenari".

I ordered all 5 seasons of "Kasouken No Onna" from Buruburu at the JDorama forum, but I haven't received my discs yet. I probably won't get it for another couple of days. That's the only thing I hate about living here in Hawaii. Everything takes so long to get here! I don't even really know if the discs will work in my DVD player yet! ^^" My DVD player doesn't play DivX, but I'm not sure about MPEG-ISO so I'm hoping it will be able to play them. If not, I guess I can always watch them at work during my lunch hour! XD

Next month I'll be getting DVD's for Kamen Rider Agito (1/2 way done!!), Kamen Rider Hibiki and Matsuda Satoshi's drama "Vampire Host". I'm still waiting for Shirakawa Yujiro's net drama "Maggy's Inu Jr." to come out on DVD. It's supposed to come out some time this month, but I'm not sure when. I was watching it faithfully on the net, but the last two episodes came out while I was on vacation, and the final day to view the episodes on the website was the day I came back from my trip! -__-" I would really like to see how that drama ended so I'm keeping an eye out for it.

Whew, pretty long post ne? I guess that's my fault for not keeping up! Well, gonna go finish watching my "Mail" DVD's! Ja na!!!! ^_^

Long Time No Post

Oh man, it's been ages since I last posted anything! I've been so busy with work lately that I've had absolutely no time to relax! My boss is trying to catch up on his work so he's been flying tax returns for both individuals & corporations at me left & right. All of a sudden, the corporation papers that I had worked on for the past year or two that were sitting in the hallway until now are landing up back on my desk to be finished up all at once along with bunches of individual income taxes returns. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

Not only that, I have payrolls to work on. The quarterly reports and taxes are due at the end of this month along with the general excise taxes. To make things worse my boss has me helping him input things into the computer for Mufi!!!! I absolutely HATE politics, and here he has me helping him with his political stuff! PHOOEY!!! The only good thing about that is that I'll be getting paid $200 a month to help with the inputting, and I definitely need the extra money. It'll definitely help in getting me back to Japan next year! XD

I never even got to finish my vacation talk, and it's already been more than a month since I've been back! Terrible! XP

Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to post a little more often. I definitely need a break from work again (so soon!).

I finally finished watching the DVD's I bought on our trip and I watched some DVD's that I bought from Amazon Japan that came in after I came home. I bought this Japanese movie called "is.A" which stars Oguri Shun, Kyo Nobuo, and Naito Takashi. The movie is pretty good, but it's also kinda depressing. Shun plays Naito's son. He's one of those anti-social, against society, hates people kinda characters. He takes out his frustrations by blowing people up. Like I said, depressing movie!

I also bought Tonisen's photo book on the advice of Bonita. I'm glad I did! It's full of great photos of the guys and gives a history of their stage careers. It's really interesting. I kinda wish I could've seen some the plays. Hiroshi's play "Deathtrap" looked really interesting, and I would've loved to see Masayuki in both versions of "Footloose".

Well, guess I'll go back to watching my Kamen Rider Blade DVD's! Ja mata ne!! ^_^

Vacation Part I

Man, it's been busy! The day after I came back from vacation I had to go back to work, and my desk was a mess! I was working till almost 7:00 pm from Wednesday to Friday just to get my desk cleared off!

Anyways, thought I'd put down my thoughts on my vacation in a little more detail. My aunty is a travel agent who's office specializes in Japan tours. My sister and I have never gone on any of the tours since we've always mainly wanted to go to Japan to buy manga, DVD's, CD's, etc. and the tours usually end up going to a thousand shrines and temples which we never feel like seeing. Knowing this, my aunty just gets us the plane tickets and makes the hotel reseverations for us. She leaves the rest up to us. In other words, we have to figure out how to get to the hotel! In Tokyo & Osaka it's not so bad since my aunty usually puts us up in a hotel which is on the limousine bus route so that we can catch the bus to go to the hotel from the airport and vice versa.

So, on our first day we leave Hawaii International Airport on Tuesday morning June 24, 2005. Like I said in my previous entry, the flight to Fukuoka was 9 hours loooooooong! I couldn't wait to get off the plane and breathe some fresh air! When we arrived in Japan it was already Wednesday afternoon June 25, 2005 (in other words, we lost a whole day).

After getting our luggage we had to figure out how to get to our hotel. I had done a little research and found out that the Hakata Miyako Hotel (the hotel we stayed at in Fukuoka) was located directly across the street from the Fukuoka Station. Knowing this, I knew that we had to ride the subway to the station from the airport. The problem was finding where the subway was. After finding information we found out that we had to take a tram from the airport to the subway station. We found the tram stop, hopped on and went to the subway station. Luckily there were a whole lot of other people who were also going to the subway so we just followed all those people to the station. After getting to the station we purchased our subway tickets and got on the subway. Luckily, the subway wasn't too crowded and we were able to get to the Fukuoka station without too much trouble. The next problem was finding the hotel. We were looking around and around, but couldn't find the hotel! Wouldn't you know it, we went out the wrong exit! After going back in to the station, we found an information booth, and asked for directions. The girl in the booth pointed us in the opposite direction of the exit that we had gone out of! XP Of course when we went out that exit we immediately saw the darn hotel! By the time we got settled into our rooms it was already 3:00 pm so we decided to just walk around the station since there was a shopping arcade attached to the station, bought some dinner at the food market at the department store then went back to the hotel. End of our first day in Japan!

The next day we left our room at 9:45. We went to Tenjin to visit Tenjin Chikagai which is an underground shopping arcade and also to find the Animate store there. In the afternoon we went to see Canal City which is a somewhat new and HUGE shopping complex. We spent the rest of the day walking around the complex (that's how big it was!). We started back to the hotel at around 4:30, stopped at the department store again to pick up dinner and called it a day. End of day 2.

I'm finally home! Vacation was great, but it's nice to be back home again!

We didn't get to see everything we wanted to in Kyushuu, but I don't know if want to go there again since the plane ride was 9 HOURS LONG! That plane ride was just a liiiiiitle too long (just a little, my poor butt! ^^;). Anyways, I finally got to see the Peace Park in Nagasaki & the Atomic Bomb Museum in Hiroshima. It was touching and depressing at the same time. Seeing the ruins of the buildings, the pictures, the artifacts, it really made me realize how awful the atomic bomb was. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and the suffering all those people went through. It made me think that sometimes progress isn't necessary especially when it comes to war.

I did enjoy looking for all the comic book stores. There's this chain of comic book stores called Animate that has stores all over Japan. My sister and I always try to find as many as we can wherever we are since it gives us a good excuse to get lost! We end up going to places where tourists usually don't go and get to see interesting things and find other interesting stores along the way.

I normally buy a lot of comics (which I did again this time!) since I have to buy my G-Defend comics in Japan. I don't know why, but the publishing company won't sell their comics overseas and they don't sell their comics on Amazon.co.jp so I have to go to Japan to buy them. I also buy quite a bit of dojinshi comics. This time I bought a few Kamen Rider and Sentai dojinshi comics as well as a bunch of V^ ones. Pretty hilarious! I found about five new comic titles that I'm enjoying which are "Reijyuki", "Holyland" (this is the manga that Ishigaki Yuma's new drama is based on), Kami To Sengoku Seitokai", "Yamigami Kou", and "Onmyou Taiseiki". Boy, did I buy A LOT of manga (yabai ^^;)! I normally buy a few CD's & DVD's and end up buying tons of video games, but this year was the opposite. I spent some big bucks on a bunch of DVD's and CD's and bought only 1 video game. I'm starting to get into Orange Range's music so I bought quite a few of their CD's as well as a couple of W-inds cd's, Dragon Ash's new single & a couple of Tokusatsu theme songs that I'd been looking for.

As far as DVD's go I found the Kat-Tun & Johnny's World DVD's the Bonita had recommended as well as my Kamen Rider DVD's and a couple of "Odoru Daisossen" DVD's. I was looking for "Quiz" disc 6, but NOBODY had it! I'm sooooooo frustrated!

I also made a pig of myself! Hiroshima okonomiyaki is OISHIIIIIIII!!!!!! We ate it both nights we were there! Deeeeelicious! I would go back again just to eat okonomiyaki again, but I have to go back again anyway since I didn't get to go to Miyajima Island yet! XD We also ate a lot of musubi, ramen & crepes (banana chocolate with whipped cream, yum!). I also ate this nasubi donburi from a food market in Fukuoka. That was really good! It's a good thing we walked around a lot or else they would've had to roll me off the plane!

Phew, guess I'll end it here, still got some unpacking and cleaning up to do! Ja, mata yoroshiku ne!!! ^_^

Excitement & Anxiousness

Only a couple more days till vacation! I'm really excited since we'll be going to Kyuushu for the first time. I'll finally get to see Fukuoka! We'll also be going to Nagasaki & Hiroshima, so I'll get to visit the Peace Park & the Museum for the first time. I'm really looking forward to it! Also kind of looking forward to wandering around & getting lost in a whole new place again! At the same time I'm a little anxious BECAUSE we'll be getting lost in a whole new place! Actually, the thing that I'm worried about is making sure that we find our way to the hotels. The hotels in Fukuoka & Hiroshima shouldn't be a problem since they are right near the train stations, but from what I've seen from the research I've done, the hotel in Nagasaki is a little far from the train station so I'm going to have to figure out if we'll be able to ride the street car with our luggage, or if it might be better to splurge a little and ride the taxi instead. I hate having to figure all this stuff out, but my sister has absolutely no desire to figure the little details out and leaves that up to me, which is only fair since I make her figure out how to get to everywhere else while we're in Japan (I have absolutely NO sense of direction)! :P

I know I always tell people that they can come on the trips with us, but seriously though, I don't think most people would have fun traveling with me & my sister. We have absolutely no schedule of any kind. We decide the night before what tourist attraction we should see and figure out how to get there. However, we don't always get to where we're going since we end up making all kinds of detours and stops on the way! Sometimes we end up only staying at the place we were planning on going to for only a little while since we used up the rest of time going to other places! I think our main weakness is comic book stores and CD stores. Whenever we see one of these we always end up going inside. One of our goals is to visit as many Animate comic book stores in Japan. It may seem kind of silly to a lot of people, but it's our main reason for getting lost & finding a lot of other interesting things to look at. I wonder if Liss & Bmw still wanna go with me after reading how unorganized my sister & I are? ^^;

I still have some last minute shopping to do so I'll probably do it tomorrow when I do the grocery shopping and hopefully I won't forget anything this time. I always forget SOMETHING whenever I go traveling. I think last year I forgot to pack toothpaste. I remembered my toothbrush but forgot the toothpaste. I had to stop at the convenience store to pick some up. Otoshiyori da ne? ^^;

Random Thoughts

I was watching "Yoshitsune" with my mom the other night, and I was trying to explain to her who all the different actors were. Kobayashi Nenji is in the drama & my mother always insists on calling him "Inspector Koba" in reference to his character from "Kasouken No Onna". I keep trying to teach her his real name, but she insists he's "Inspector Koba"!! I was thinking to myself that my mom is a total nutcase, but then as I thought a little more I realized I'm sort of like my mom! X0 I tend to recognize certain actors or actresses by the characters that they played that have impressed me the most. For example, everytime I see Okada Yoshinori I think of him as "Ucchi" from Kizarazu Cat's Eye. I'm not as bad as mom in that I DO know his real name, but I can't help but think of him as "Ucchi"! This is a bad habit that I need to break which means...I should watch more dramas and movies!!! *rofl* Seriously though, sometimes it's a bad thing to type cast the poor actors and actresses. The first time I saw Okada Yoshinori after seeing KCE was in "Double Score". The first thing I thought was "Ucchi is in this drama!", and I ended up being a little disappointed because his charcter was so "normal"!*hehe* Now it's not so bad since I've seen him in other things since then, but...it's a VERY BAD HABIT!!>.<

I finished watching tape 3 of Kamen Rider Hibiki over the weekend. I finally figured out why I'm not enjoying it quite as much as I should. Kamen Rider Blade has totally spoiled me! I think that so far KR Blade has been the best series. The storyline was interesting, all of the characters were interesting (including the bad guys!), the costumes were really cool, and there was lots of good looking guys in it. Hibiki's storyline is not quite as interesting (at least not at the moment) and it's a little draggy at times. The costumes are ugly! I know that they're supposed to represent oni, but I guess I'm so used to the bug look that these costumes just turn me off. I think the best costume I've seen so far is Chalice from KR Blade. That one was pretty neat looking. Also, the characters in Hibiki are kind of....mmmm....tsumannai. I guess it'll get better as the show progresses, but it's just that Blade had me right from the beginning while Hibiki is taking me awhile to get used to. The one thing about Hibiki that I do like is it's connection with music so in that sense, I'm enjoying the show!

It's getting closer to VACATION time! This week Saturday I have to go to the bank to take out money to pay for my trip and then next week I need to stop at the bank to get some yen. The exchange rate is really bad right now only 105 yen to the dollar *bleah*! It's gonna be a very expensive vacation, but it'll be worth it! Just looking forward to getting away from getting up early every morning, and especially away from the TELEPHONE! Because my vacation is getting closer my boss is starting to pile stuff up on my desk. He's soooooo last minute! X( Hope I don't end up working until 9:00 at night the day before I leave like I had to do the last time! Man, that was awful, I didn't get home til almost 10:00 and I still had to pack my suitcase *sweat*!

Anyways, better get back to work now since lunch break is over! Ja ne! ^_^

Only about three more weeks until I go on VACATION!!!!!!! We've pretty much figured out where we're going now. We'll be spending a three nights in Fukuoka, one night in Nagasaki, then two nights in Hiroshima then we go to Tokyo for one week and go on a spending spree!!! XD I'm looking forward to getting away from the office and all my chores at home, and also buying all my manga! I'll actually be able to sleep in past 5:00 am!!! 0_0

Work is still hectic! The past few days I've been busy with payrolls. Not only closing up the payrolls for the month, but also actually doing payrolls. My two biggest payrolls are this week and one of them just came in yesterday. That means the other one should be coming in some time today, and I'm still waiting for a couple more payrolls to come in. Monday was the worst since it was the day right after the 15th. Usually most of my payrolls come in on the day after the 15th and the last day of the month. Man, I really wish my boss could afford to hire at least a part-timer. I could use the help doing some of the payrolls and answering the telephones at least. I get so frustrated because I keep getting interrupted whenever I'm in the middle of something. If it's not the telephone ringing it's a client coming in the office to drop of papers or to pick up their returns. Or else it's my boss making me run an errand for him. Hontouni kuyashii!

Because I was so busy on Monday I missed another drama at the V6 thread at JDorama. I just don't understand why that thread gets so much drama! The other threads that I post at don't have any drama like that at all. I just don't get it. Weird! :P Bonita also showed us a Kat-Tun DVD that she got. Looks good, and she mentioned that Junno tap dances and juggles at the same time in the DVD so I'm giving some serious thought to buying it!XD If I find it while I'm in Japan I think I'll get it!

Finally finished watching Kyoto Jiken No Onna & Tokumei Kakarichou Todano Hitoshi. Both were really good! I still have to finish watching Fukigenna Jiin ^^;. I started on Tiger & Dragon. They only brought in the first ep since it was about 5 min longer then normal (cheapy video store!), but it was a very good ep! I think I'm gonna enjoy this series. It's been really funny so far! Also finished watching Sportsman No. 1. Shirakawa Yujiro came in tied for 4th with Iketani Naoki (?). It was a little disappointing because I think he could've placed higher if he hadn't made a mistake in the Shot-Gun Touch, but overall he did really well and looked kakkoii! Yoshida Tomokazu who appeared in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger also participated, but he ended up being one of the first participants to get dropped. :(

Just received my order from Amazon.co.jp over the weekend. I bought a copy of Morimoto Ryoji's shashinshuu and WOW! I have to admit, the guy is really photogenic! His cute pics are cute (and the dog is cute too!) and his sexy pics are hot! The book also comes with a DVD which I enjoyed. He's a really funny guy! I'm really glad I got the photo book. It was definitely worth it! I also got my Kamen Rider Blade Vol. 9 DVD (yay!) and picked up this web movie DVD called Shibuya Kaidan. It's not so much scary as it's weird, but I enjoyed it!

Still loading songs into my iPod! I'm now up to 1,500 songs (is that all?!) and I have to wait until the middle of this month before I can buy more CD's. Mou maji de taihen da yo kore! Okane ga nai!! XP

No More Money!

Well, I am totally broke! I went to the Mac Store at Ala Moana and bought the battery pack which was $60, then stopped at Tower Records and bought about 6 CD's so I could load more songs into my iPod which ended up close to being $100. I also already have my Amazon order from last week on my credit card so now I'm extremely broke! No kala! Okane ga nai! Binbou desu! X( I now have to wait until next month before I can charge anything more. Yabai!! Dekiru kana? I really have to budget myself, especially since I'll be going to Japan at the end of next month. *sigh*, what I wouldn't give to have someone bequeath a million dollars to me right now!

Also went to rent some videos. We went to Nippon Video, a video store that we don't usually go to since the parking is so bad, but my sister was looking for "Shitazuma Monogatari" which stars Fukada Kyoko & Tsuchiya Anna, and the store we usually go to didn't have it. I got to borrow tape 8 of "Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger" which I didn't get to see since someone lost the tape at Japan Video and finished watching "Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji". I also finally got to see the Tiger & Dragon special with Okada Junichi & Nagase Tomoya. Very funny! I will definitely watch the drama this season when it starts coming in! I didn't get to finish "Kyoto Jiken No Onna" since Nippon Video didn't bring that one in for some reason so I have to wait until next week when we go back to Japan Video. I also rented the Sportsman No. 1 tape, but I didn't have time to watch it. Hope my sister remembered to tape it for me so I can watch it later this week. ^^;

Work is still busy! Gotta work on extensions now (of which there are about 200!) and I have to close up all my payrolls for the quarter and collect all the quarterly tax checks as well as the general excise tax checks by the end of the month. The phone is starting to pick up again since everyone wants to know when their returns will be finished. I wish people would realize that the more they call the longer it will take to get their returns done. They not only slow down my boss, since he ends up talking on the phone for hours, but it also slows ME down because I have to keep stopping what I'm doing to answer the phone. Right now I H-A-T-E Alexander Graham Bell!!>.<

Weekend Planning

Yay! It's Friday which means.....I work 1/2 day tomorrow! *BLEAH*

It also means that after work I will be going to the video rental store to rent more videos!! I can finally finish watching "Kyoto Jiken No Onna", "Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji", and maybe start on "Tokumei Kakarichou Todano Hitoshi". I will also be looking for the Sportsman No.1 special that was shown in Japan earlier this month. Shirakawa Yujiro is supposed to be in it. I know he didn't do that well, but I get to see his muscles and the show is always interesting. I bet Iketani won again! That guy is really athletic. I wonder if any other tokusatsu actors were in it this year? I know Nagai Masaru & Noboru Kaneko have been in it before so I guess I'll be on the lookout for any interesting people!

On Sunday I'm planning on going to the Mac Store in Ala Moana to go and buy a battery pack for my iPod. I'm gonna need it when I go on my vacation to Japan at the end of next month. I also need to stop at Tower Records and buy some more CD's so I can load some songs that I can't find on iTunes. Gads, I'm so broke, but I'm having so much fun playing with my iPod! Sheesh I'm such a kid! *hehe*

My order from Amazon.co.jp was just shipped yesterday so hopefully I'll should be getting it sometime towards the end of next week. I can't wait to get my Kamen Rider DVD's and I also ordered an internet movie on DVD calls "Shibuya Kaidan". Shirakawa Yujiro, Izumi Masayuki, & Murakami Kohei are supposed to be in some of the stories on this DVD. Also looking forward to getting my Morimoto Ryouji Photo Book! From what I've seen in the ads for the book the pictures look great. Quite a few sexy ones! Tanoshimi!!

Looks like things are picking up at the V6 thread at JDorama again! Just like when I first started going there. 3-4 pages magically appear while I'm sleeping! Aka's going to town with her new fic which is really awesome! The only problem I'm having is keeping up with all the characters! I have to keep re-reading the previous chapters to remember who everyone is! I think I nees to start taking Ginko, my memory is going already!^^;

There was also a new girl at the thread who didn't like the fact that we were talking so much about Okada Junichi. I know it's a little unfair to the other members of V6, but Junichi is the busiest one right now. Besides, there were periods when we hardly talked about the poor boy! I guess she didn't really read the previous pages too well, cuz she should have noticed that! Hopefully, she'll realize that we all enjoy ALL the members of the group.

Well, better get back to work again before I end up staying until 7:00 p.m.! Ja mata ato de! ^_^

Drama Catch Up

Now that tax season is over I finally started to catch up on my dramas and tokusatsu. I FINALLY got to see the end of Gokusen. Yankumi does it to me everytime! I was bawling like a baby at the end again! I still liked the first one a little better, but I enjoyed this series and will definitely be buying the DVD's when they come out! I must admit Nakama Yukie & Namase Katsuhisa make a great team! I loved them in both Gokusen series & I also loved them in all the Trick series! I hope they work together again in another drama!

I'm almost done watching "Kyoto Jiken No Onna". One more episode and then I'm done. This keiji drama was pretty good. Quite a bit of comedy and two of the actors from Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger were in this show!

Also almost done watching "Kyumei Byoto 24Ji". I should finish watching this drama this coming weekend too. Shun is doing a really good job in this drama and of course Egushi Yosuke & Matsushima Nanako are awesome! The stories are really good, and always make me cry darn it!

Last but not least, I got to watch up to ep 8 of both Kamen Rider Hibiki and Mahoutsukai Sentai Majiranger. Hibiki is pretty different from previous KR's, but I'm enjoying it since it has a kind of musical theme and drums play a big part in this show!! DRUMMERS RULE!!!!!!! XD

Well, I'm going back to downloading more music into my iPod! Ja neeeeeee!!!!!! ^_^

FREE AT LAST! (sort of...)

THE BIG RUSH IS FINALLY OVER (for now)!!!! I'M FREE AT LAST (sort of)!!!!

Wow, it's been almost a month since my last post! Zaza must be so disappointed in me! *hehe*

The April 15th deadline for income taxes is past so the big crush is over for now until August 15th when the extensions will be expiring. I'm soooooooo tired right now. I ended up working until 11:45 last night so I didn't get home till almost 12:30 and didn't get to sleep until one. I had to wake up at 5:30 this morning to get ready to come to work so that I could start to work on my payrolls XP.

Boy, this year was just really bad! Last year I was able to get on the internet & visit my favorite forums for at least a little while since we had some temporary help. This year my boss didn't hire ANYONE so I had to do everything by myself. I had to punch in data into the computer, print out the returns, put the returns together, answer the telephone, help clients when they came in to pick up their taxes, run errands, do payroll, etc. I had no time to get on the internet at all except to check my bosses e-mail. I missed everybody! I'm gonna have a lot of reading to do now when I log on to those forums!

I think the main thing that kept me going is my new iPod. Having all my favorite music to listen to kept me sane. However, my iPod was also driving me crazy! One time is wouldn't play my music even though it would turn on so I had to reset it. Then a couple weeks later it wouldn't turn on at all! I had to leave my iPod disconnected from all power sources for 24 hours and then reset it again! I think I was dying at work on those days when I didn't have my iPod with me. At least it's working now and I'm hoping it doesn't freak out on me again. I can't understand why only my iPod is trying to give me a heart attack. My brother & my sister's iPod's have been perfectly fine. Guess if their iPod's ever give them trouble I'll be the expert in the house considering I got my iPod last!

Right now my office looks like a tornado hit it. I'm gonna have to go through all the files that are lying all over (and I mean ALL OVER) the office and put them in order in the back corner of the office so we can find them later. We're also gonna have to sweep and throw out a lot of junks in here. That's gonna be a lot of work again. Oh well and least I'll be able to walk around the office without tripping over things.

Well, I better stop for now & get back to work (before my boss comes in & catches me! XD). Ja mata!!! ^_^

Quick Update

Hey everybody! Boy, it's been quite awhile again! It's really busy at work right now. Everybody seems to be trying to drive me crazy. The phone won't stop ringing (it keeps ringing till almost 7:00 p.m.!), people keep walking into the office, my boss keeps making me run errands, the fax machine is starting to die...oh yes, and I must not forget, my computer is giving me STRESS!! The Windows program is so old that the tax programs don't work right and keep freezing up. My boss finally gave in and got me a new computer so now the programs work much better & (even more important!) I have new games to play!! *hehe* I'm ready for a nice long break already!

Which reminds me, My sister and I decided that we'll be going to Kyushu & Tokyo this year when we go to Japan. We'll check out Fukuoka & Nagasaki for sure, after that, we'll probably just go get lost again. Naturally we have to take one week in Tokyo to go and look for all of our "toys"! Our manga, CD's, DVD's, video games, etc. I can already feel the hole starting to burn in my wallet! :P

I finally got myself an iPod this past Sunday. I spent the rest of that afternoon and evening loading up songs into it. I currently have 200 some odd songs in it right now and planning on loading more this weekend. I bought the iPod Photo. You can upload photos and make slide shows as well as songs, so the memory is a lot larger, and being that I like a lot of different music, I have a lot of music to load. I gotta go back to the Mac Store and see if they sell the battery pack. It's $60, but I'm gonna need it when I go on vacation at the end of May so.....XP.

Bonita offered to change the layout on my blog again! Yay! I'm a little sad since I can't see half-neked Nari anymore, but she promised more hunkies for me to look at so I'm looking forward to see what she has in store for me! Tanoshimiiiiiii!!!!!

I Need A Vacation

Hey minna ohisashiburi! Been quite a while since my last post! It's been getting busier and busier since it's tax season. I've been working from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm up until the middle of last week. Now I work until 9:00 maybe 9:30 pm. After I get home I take a shower and eat my dinner (it's already almost 10:00 pm!) and then pass out until 5:15 am when my day starts all over again. Mou tsukareta! >_<

My order arrived from Amazon Japan yesterday so I finally have all my Hurricanger DVD's! Yay! Now I can watch Shirakawa Yujiro & Kyo Nobuo every night while I eat my dinner! I also managed to get a set of Yujiro's drama "Damenari" off of Yahoo! Japan auctions through Rinkya, so I also have that to watch. My sister bought the anime of Bleach and so far it's pretty good. I still like the manga better, but the anime is pretty funny and so far has followed the manga fairly closely.

Since I finally have all my Hurricanger DVD's I can finally save up some money to buy myself an iPod! My old walkman (3 years old already!) is starting to die already so hopefully by the middle of this month I'll have enough saved up to go buy myself an iPod. My sister and brother already have theirs so I'm ready to get mine!

Over the weekend I finally got to see the end of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, but they still haven't brought in the last episode of Kamen Rider Blade! I really want to see what happens to Kenzaki & Aikawa! I wish they would hurry up and bring it in already! Also been watching Gokusen 2. I still like the first series better, but I'm enjoying this series as well. The guys are really cute (Moko is so tall! Teppei is so cute! Kame is so cool! Jin is so...baka! XD) and the stories are still really interesting. Even better Waki Tomohiro who plays Kuma is back so I'm enjoying the new series a lot!

Ah well, better get back to work before I end up working to 11:00! X( Ja, mata ne minna! ^_^

Overtime

I am currently sitting in my office. It is 6:00 p.m. and I still have two more hours of work to go. It's getting so busy now that I have to put in a few more hours just to keep up with my regular work and the tax returns! I finally decided to take a short break since I've been busting my butt all day. I'm so tired! This is sooooo not good! It's only February & I'm dragging already! XP

Tonight is Fat Tuesday so they're having a block party near my office building. The streets are blocked off right now & I can see some people walking around with beads! Crazy! Hope my sister doesn't have trouble coming to pick me up after I'm done with work. We still have to go return video tapes to the rental store. ^^;

Finally got to start watching the new dramas. I found lots of new dramas to watch! Looks like I'm gonna be glued to the TV over the weekends for awhile!

I'm Back!

Been a while since I last posted anything! It's already February! Hayai naaaa! Too much to do at work this past week so I've been really busy. I haven't even been able to visit the forums much, though I guess I haven't really been missing anything. I just checked out the threads I usually go to and there hasn't been much activity! :(

I finally got all the W-2's, 940's and 941's out on Monday! *Phew!* That was a pretty close one. I thought I was gonna be late sending everything out, but I managed to get all the forms mailed out on time! Already, people are bringing in their tax papers so it's going to start getting hectic around here again very very soon. I'm already starting to work a little later than usual (I usually leave around 5:15 or so, but been working till 6:00, maybe 6:30). I'm almost done closing up my payrolls for the month of January now, so thought I'd take a little break.

Saturday I went to Ala Moana with my sister. She wanted to go to the Mac store so she could get herself a new laptop. She had transferred money into her checking account using the bank machine. I told her I didn't think the money would transfer right away and she should go to the teller, but she didn't want to wait in line. After we went to the store, she finally decided on a Powerbook (she wanted to download music for her iPod and upload music from her CD's and stuff). When she went to pay she found out the money hadn't been transferred to her account yet. I ended up having to pay for her computer with my credit card (thank goodness I had just paid it off or she would have been panicking!). Now I have to wait to pay off my credit card before I can buy anything else with it! :P

Sunday I borrowed videos again. The new dramas still haven't come in yet so I haven't gotten to see Gokusen 2 yet! Still watching Dekaranger, but I'm almost caught up. Maybe about 3 more tapes to go. KR Blade came in and they stopped at the second to the last episode!!!!! *Wah!* Now I gotta wait till the last tape comes in to see the end! They're driving me nuts! How dare they leave me hanging like this! XP

Yesterday was pretty depressing. I had forgotten my walkman at work so I had to ride the bus in the morning listening to people coughing and snoring (I seriously need to save money for an iPod or something!). It was cloudy and raining (actually it still is!) and last night there were thunderstorms. I had to go running errands for my boss again too! He did another last minute fiasco so I had to go get a tax clearance at the IRS for him! *Bleah!* Good thing it wasn't raining at the time or I would've been majorly p/o'ed!!X( Also, my box from Amazon Japan came, but the stupid mail delivery person wouldn't leave it where s/he was supposed to! For some reason they took it back with them! It's not like I have to sign for it since I had it sent parcel post and the person who delivers the mail is supposed to automatically leave any parcels in our garage! I had to leave a note for the person to leave my parcel for me. Hopefully they'll leave it where they're supposed to this time!

Wow, pretty long entry today! Anyways, time to get back to work! Ja na! ^_^

A Little Excitement

Had some excitement at my working place yesterday! Apparently, over the weekend someone tried to break into a bunch of offices on the 2nd & 3rd floor of my office building. The guy hit most of the rooms that have no deadbolt on the door. Someone down the hall from us happened to catch a glimpse of the guy when he came out of his office to check on a pounding noise that he was hearing in the hallway. When he came out he saw a guy running down the hall towards the fire exit stairwell.

A couple of policemen came to take reports from the guy and the tenants of the rooms that got damaged. Unfortunately for me (like I already told Bonita!), neither of the policemen were good looking! :P Oh well!

I hope the owner's of the building improve the security here. It's actually a pretty dangerous place at night. Our building tends to attract a lot of homeless people and drug users because of the parking basement. They all tend to hide out over there at night if they can get in. It's really easy to get into the building once you climb over the parking gate to get into the basement, plus the security people only stay until about 10:00 at night and there isn't any security at all on the weekends. Pretty scary, especially since I'll be starting to work late soon since income tax season is starting up again!

Finally finished watching Kurokawa No Techou and Mystery Minzoku Gakusha Yakumo Itsuki over the last couple of weekends. I thought Kurokawa No Techou was a pretty good show, but I kinda hoped for a better ending, although, I guess the ending is the "RIGHT" ending (nobody understood that did they? :P). Also started watching Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. Hayashi Tsuyoshi who plays Hoji/Dekablue is pretty cute! The show is pretty good and the cast seems to be pretty good too. I even like one of the girls. Not too silly or irritating and she's supposed to be psychic!

Can't wait for the new dramas to start coming in. Looking forward to checking out Fukigenna Gene, H2, Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji, Tokumei Kakarichou Todano Hitoshi, and Gokusen 2! I might try watching Fugou Keiji which stars Fukada Kyoko. I'm not a real big fan of hers, but she did a good job in Remote and I'm a sucker for Keiji dramas! I'm hoping the video rental store will also bring in Shibuya 15. It looks really good, but I'm thinking they might not bring it in since this drama airs in Japan really late at night.

Well, better get back to work before my boss catches me! XD Ja, mata aoune! ^_^

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

It's been so busy at work and it still is! I think the government is trying to thin out the population by making us all have strokes and heart attacks from all the stress they're giving us! For some stupid reason all quarterly payroll reports are due at the end of this month. Also, all unemployment taxes and general excise taxes are due at the end of this month. And last, but not least, all W-2's need to be distributed to the employer's so that they can give them out to their employees by the end of the month! I'm going nuts! I've been working until 8:00 pm for the past week to make sure I finish everything!

I just had to take a break already! I'm so tired! Thank goodness I finished most of the forms. I'm still waiting for some forms to come in, but I'm pretty much done and I'm hoping I'll be able to get the checks in before the end of this week so that I won't have to run around getting them at the last minute. That would be a definite pain in the you-know-where!

I screwed up the other layout so bad that Bonita had to make me a whole new one! How sad is that! Anybody visiting my blog yesterday or today can see that I tried to change my layout. TRY being the important word here. Bonita gave me the HTML template, and it was supposed to be easy to do, but TADAAAAA! Of course I screwed it up! (Gomen Bonita! :P) I am officially COMPUTER ILLITERATE! X(

I guess the few good things I can say are that I didn't blow my computer up, my blog didn't totally disappear, and I came kinda close to what it was SUPPOSED to look like (at least I think I came close!XD).

I'm so hopeless! Bonita has to help me fix it now since I made such a mess of it (Gomeiwaku kakete gomenasai ne Bonita) ! Hopefully, she'll remember to send me what the template was supposed to look like so that I can look at it and see all the things I did wrong! That way I can learn more about how the layout is supposed to work. ^_^;

Starting of A New YearI

Whoa, it's been almost a week since I last posted anything! It's been pretty busy here at work. My boss is STILL doing 2003 tax returns (*sigh* >.<) and I have to close up all of the payrolls and get them ready to print out all the W-2's and complete all the tax reports that are due at the end of the month.

Not much time for me to get on the internet, and the fact that my brother & sister have been using the computer quite a lot didn't help any either. I finally got to use the computer last night and had a nice chat with Bonita! Ohisashiburi! Tanoshikatta!

She changed the layout on her blog again. Looks really good! I really admire her. She's so good at so many things! I gotta learn how to change the layout on my blog here too. I'm so afraid I'll make this disappear that I haven't been able to get up enough courage to change anything yet. This year I'll definitely study up and change it...eventually...sometime...maybe later....he he.

Started out the New Year at home and ate soba & ozoni! My brother makes some ONO ozoni! He'll be a great firefighter (that is, if he ever passes the exam!)! He's turning out to be a pretty good cook! We went to my Aunty's house in Mililani again for New Year's and I broke even at Mah Jong again (futsuu ne!), and I ate much more than was good for me. Guess I'm gonna have to exercise a little more to work of the extra food I ate!

Well, it's been a good year so far (it's only been 6 days!) hopefully the rest of the year will be good too. Hopefully, if I can manage to save enough money (which just seems to be impossible!) my sister and I will be going to Japan in May again. This time we might go to Hiroshima for a few days, but we're still kicking around ideas. If we do go though we're definitely going to either Osaka or Tokyo since those are our 2 favorite cities!

How was everyone's Christmas? Hope everyone had a nice holiday and got what they wanted.

I got my sister the wrong digital camera! She did want the thinner one! She ended up going shopping with me the next day to exchange the camera for the correct one which cost another $160! Oh well, at least when we go on trips I won't have to take pictures anymore! :P

My brother enjoyed his present from me & my sister. We got him the Tony Hawk Underground 2 PS2 game. He's having a ball with it!

My mom loves her wallet, especially since she really needed a new one. I should've got the bright green Tommy Hilfiger wallet! She would've killed me! XD

I got what I wanted, which was some long-sleeved T-shirts. Also, one of my good friends got me a gift card from Borders Books so now I can go buy some new mystery and fantasy books to read!

We went to my Aunty's house in Mililani for Christmas lunch and dinner. I ate too much! There went my diet! Oh well, at least the food was good! We played Mah Jong again. This time I broke even, which is pretty normal for me. My cousin who's going to college on the mainland came home for Christmas, but he's leaving again on Wednesday, so he won't be here for New Year's. I kinda miss him. We're always beating each other up and I actually miss that! ^_^"

I saw some video of the tsunami that hit Asia on the news. It looks so bad! I really feel so badly for all those people. So many dead, so much destruction! I'm glad that Bonita and the others are safe. I was really worried for awhile there! I hope those people will be able to get their lives back together again, but I'm sure it will take a lot of time and healing.

Well, time to go and watch Kasouken No Onna! Ja ne! ^_^

Sorry about the title, but I couldn't think up one! :P

I FINALLY got my Christmas shopping done yesterday! Spent 5 hours straight at Ala Moana Shopping Center buying all my gifts in one shot! After doing the laundry, cleaning the yard and doing the grocery shopping I went straight to Ala Moana Shopping Center. I got there at about 9:30 or so. There was still quite a few parking spaces open so I got off to a good start! I planned out the night before exactly what I was going to buy and which store I was going to buy the things at, but some things went awry. I wanted to buy my boss a nice coffee set, but I couldn't find anything that was very good at either Gloria Jean's or the Honolulu Coffee Co. so I ended up buying him an assorted tea set from L'Epicier. Hope he likes tea! ^^;

My sister's present is the most expensive. $400 for a Sony CyberShot Digital Camera. I have a feeling I bought her the wrong one though. After I bought the camera I saw one that was thinner than the one I bought and I think that the thin one is the one she wanted. Oh well, she can always return it if it's the wrong one since I kept the receipt and everything.

After I came home I finished watching my videos. Watched the rest of Abaranger. All I have to watch now is the movie, then I can start on Dekaranger. Finally saw the new eps of Gakkou E Ikou, where Kamisen goes to Korea. Omoshirokatta! Go just cracks me up sometimes! Also decided to just watch the episodes of Botan To Bara where Shirakawa Yujiro appears. If he wasn't in this drama I don't think I'd be watching it at all. It's a little bit too depressing for me. If I was Botan I'd be smacking Kayo up and down the street. She's such a brat!

I'm not gonna be able to rent videos for two weeks now. Oh well, at least my order from Amazon Japan should be coming soon so I'll have new manga to read (my Gokusen vol. 10 is coming! Yay!!!) and I can finish watching Kamen Rider Kuuga again since the final DVD is in that order!

Hopefully I'll be able to post another entry before Saturday, but if not hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Ja, mata ato de!! v^_^v

Wow, been almost a week since I last blogged! Been so busy at work, and my sister and brother have been keeping me off the computer at home so not much time to get on this past week.

My boss is going to the outer islands again today and tomorrow (which is why I'm on the computer now! I have a little bit of free time! XD) and he left me a stack of tax returns to put together and a couple to put into the computer. I just hope the phone doesn't ring off the hook today so I can finish these returns! It's getting really busy here at work since the end of the year is coming up. My boss is trying to finish THREE (count 'em THREE!!!) more boxes of tax returns, so he keeps piling returns on my desk. In between tax returns I've had to do payrolls (past couple of days have been really hectic!), run errands (pay my bosses loan, deliver payroll taxes to the tax office, etc.), and deal with my cold (which is pretty much done, thank goodness!). I still have to work on a bunch of corporation returns. I do all the preliminary work and my boss finishes up, but I just don't have the time to get to it with all this other junk piling up on my desk! Also gotta start closing up all the payrolls to get ready to print out W-2's and finish up the quarterly and yearly tax reports. Taihen desu! Mou tsukaretta! >.<;

Because I've been so busy I haven't been able to post very much at the forums. Just a few here and there mostly in the morning when I first come in to work. I miss everybody! :( I think I'm not the only one though, I know a lot of the other girls have exams now (Poor things! Glad I don't have that anymore!) and Aka has work (sounds more stressful than mine!), so I shouldn't complain. I probably have it a lot easier than everyone else does!

Oh yeah, hey Bonita, (if you happen to read this!) I had one of those dreams, but it had Shirakawa Yujiro in it instead of V6. Nande darou? I think somethings wrong with me cuz I never have dreams like that. Ask your mom if I'm getting desperate or something please!

Only eight more days until Christmas and I STILL haven't done any Christmas shopping! Gotta definitely go this weekend! I HATE SHOPPING! AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!! Why do I always do this to myself! DAREKA TASUKETE KURE!!!!!!! XP

Highs And Lows

It's been pretty interesting the past few days. Lots of highs & lows for me.

Thursday was my 39th BD. I'm one step closer to the big 4-0! Scary. It was good in that I got to eat what I wanted (I ordered Korean Kim Chee Soup, actually I wanted Hawaiian food, but we just ate that on Tuesday!) and my brother let me have the TV for a night (I got to watch those Forensic TV Shows on Discovery!). On the down side I CAUGHT A COLD! BLEAH! It was bound to happen since everyone around me is sick. My boss is sick, the guy down the hall from us who always feeds us lunch is sick, my brother is sick, my sister is sick and most importantly, my EYE DOCTOR IS SICK!!!! What, you may ask, has my eye doctor have to do with my being sick? He's the one who made me sick! I had to go get my eyes checked last Saturday since I had to go renew my license. When I went in he had a cold! Of course, being an eye doctor he has to get up in my face to check my eyes right? So he ended up breathing into my face a lot. I was fine until a couple days after that appointment, so I'm sure it must be him who gave me my cold! FEH!!

On a high note, all my new friends that I met at my forums all remembered my BD. 嬉しい!!!! It's nice when people remember (even though sometimes I want to forget how old I am! :P). I'm so lucky that I got up enough courage to join those forums! I've met so many really nice people there who have similiar interests as me, and I'm having so much fun! 皆会えてよかった!!!!

On a down note, the UH women's volleyball team lost yesterday to Wisconsin in 5 sets. I guess the miracles finally ran out on the team. I was hoping they would at least make the Final 4, but I think they should all be really proud of themselves. They played really hard, always gave everything they had and never gave up. Hopefully, they'll be able to build on this for next year!

Today is Saturday so I'm at work *BLEAH!*, but after this I get to go rent videos again! Yay!! More Abaranger! Actually, I really need to go Christmas shopping. I still haven't started! Talk about a procrastinator yeah? One of these years I'm gonna end up buying everybody's Christmas presents after Christmas at this rate! XP

Miracles Do Happen!

A major miracle happened over the weekend. The UH football team actually beat Michigan State by 3 points, which means they will be playing in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve. I just can't believe it. I was sure they were gonna lose this one. I guess there's somebody upstairs who took pity on them and helped them out a little this time.

The women's volleyball team made it into the regional finals by beating both Colorado and Purdue. They'll be playing Wisconsin in Wisconsin next. Hope they can make it into the semifinals! Go Wahine!!

Still haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I think I'll try to go next weekend (crossing fingers). Instead I borrowed videos again and picked up my magazines from Hakubundo. Actually, my immediate family is already taken of. My sister and I will be buying Nextel cellular phones for the family. Right now, I'm the only one in the family that doesn't have a cell phone (sad isn't it!) and my sister really needs a new one (she still has an old dinosaur bone looking phone!) so we decided to split the cost on a special that they're having, and buying everyone a new phone. Now I just gotta worry about the rest of my family and my friends! ^^;

I should be getting another shipment of comics and DVD's from Amazon in a couple of weeks. Can't wait for this shipment to come in since the new "Gokusen" comic is in there! Also the last DVD to complete my Kamen Rider Kuuga set is in there as well as a couple of Hurricanger DVD's! No wonder I'm so broke! :P

Stress Time

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I ate more than was good for me (there went my diet!) and had lots of fun with my family! I actually won at Mah Jong which is a total shock since I usually lose, and my cousin who really wanted to play Mah Jong was the loser!

Now I have to psych myself out to get going on my Christmas shopping. I'm an unusual female in that I actually HATE to shop. I'll only go shopping if I absolutely have to. That's why for me Christmas is full-on stress time! Not only do I have to shop, but I have to fight crowds and look for parking as well, and I really hate it. I know I should try to do my shopping online, but I'm such a procrastinator that I always keep putting it off, and end up having to go to the malls like three or four days before Christmas to get all of my shopping done. I really need to get started earlier! I'm so lazy!! :P

At least I sort of have an idea of what I'd like to get everyone, so now the only problem is getting my lazy butt off the couch, and finding the money to pay for everything! (Time to rob the bank!!!)

The other problem is I don't have much time to shop in the first place. This past weekend for instance. Most people got Friday off, but I had to work. And I also worked a 1/2 day on Saturday as well. Because it's getting close to the end of the year, it's getting really busy at work and to make matters worse, there's only myself and my boss in our office. I'm still bugging him to find another worker to help out in the front. We haven't had a part-timer here for a year and a half now, and things are just piling up!

This past weekend instead of starting my shopping I was lazy! I borrowed videos again! Started watching Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger, watched some Music station episodes (got to see Kanjani 8!), and watched Casshern with my sister (interesting!). Tried watching "Botan To Bara" since it was supposed to be pretty popular in Japan (and Shirkawa Yujiro is in some of the episodes!), but it's just not my type of drama. I just couldn't get into it so I guess I'll pass on it.

The women's volleyball team got shafted by the NCAA AGAIN!! Not only do we NOT get to host a regional, but they shipped the team off to the most difficult regional as well! I hope the volleyball team beats everybody's ass just for that!! >_<

The football team upset Northwestern on Saturday (miracle of miracles!!). That means Northwestern is no longer bowl eligible and UH still has a chance of going to the Aloha Bowl, but they're gonna have to beat Michigan State. I'm thinking it probably won't happen unless some kind soul upstairs takes pity on the team and gives them another miracle.

My Semi-Restful Weekend

Since my boss was on the outer-islands this weekend, I didn't have to go to work on Saturday (YAY!!)! I slept in till about 6:30 then I had to get up because I had to make my mom's breakfast. It was nice being able to sleep in a little longer than usual!

I basically lazed around the house, but managed to do some housecleaning. Mostly just vacuumed and dusted, but I didn't just lie around the house all day which I was very tempted to do.

Around lunch time my sister and I went to our favorite Japanese video rental store and borrowed a bunch of videos. I managed to pretty much finish Gaoranger. I couldn't borrow a special that they had since someone had rented it, but I finished the TV series and I watched the movie as well so I think I might pass on that special. I also got to watch Kamen Rider Blade (Ureshiiii!!!)! This storyline is really good! Morimoto Ryoji is sooooo cute! I love this show! Now I gotta wait another 4 weeks for the next tape (boo!). Also got to watch Shirakawa Yujiro in Sekai Ururun. He went to Ireland to learn how to shuck oysters. He came in 14 out of 18 at the World Champion Oyster Shucking contest held in Ireland this year which is really good considering he had never done it before! He really enjoyed his homestay family and even cried when he had to leave! It was so touching! He is so damn handsome! Also finally got to watch Kurokawa No Techou. This drama seems pretty interesting so I think I'm gonna keep watching it for now.

The UH Women's Volleyball team won the WAC Championships AGAIN! That means they get the automatic berth to the NCAA Championship! The women's team just rocks this year! They've done more than anyone thought they would! They still give me stress, but I gotta admit that this team is really fun to watch! The football team on the other hand is just bad. They won this past weekend over Idaho, but it's been a pretty disappointing season considering they were supposed to be pretty good this year.

How about all the fights at sporting events over the weekend?! Really wild! I know most people will probably disagree with me on this, but I think there should be someway to punish some of the fans from the Pacers-Pistons basketball game. I mean, I know the players are rich and they're pro athletes, but they're also human! If some jerk threw a cup of beer at me I'd probably go crack him in the face too! That was totally wrong! And the stupid fan who went walking on the court? How mentally retarded can he be? And people wonder why there's so much wars in this world. X(

Sunday was chore day as always. Did the laundry, raked the leaves in the yard (actually I had to rake 2 weeks worth of leaves since I didn't rake last week because it was raining all day last Sunday!), went grocery shopping and cleaned the bathrooms. I was so tired after that! I wish there were someway to just wave a stick and have everything done! I hate raking the yard! Anybody wanna come rake the yard for me? PLEASE!!!!!!XP

Slacking Off!

I'm so bad today! My boss is taking a few days off to go to the outer islands so I'm sitting here in the office all by myself. Instead of working I'm posting an entry in my blog! How bad is that! :P

I can take a day off tomorrow (I can sleep in! Yay!) and go borrow some extra videos! I also need to start my Christmas shopping (boo! I'm so broke!)! I wonder if I should look into doing all my shopping online this year. I'm usually a last minute shopper so maybe doing my shopping online will help motivate me to get started early this time. It probably beats fighting with the crowds at the shopping malls and looking for nonexistant parking!XP

Yesterday was Okada Junichi's birthday! Otanjyoubi omedetou Junichi! Sorry I'm one day late! Oh well, I already told him happy BD at the Forum on time so, feh!

Last night's CSI episode was really interesting. Pretty freaky, but really interesting! I really love this show. It's one of the few American TV shows that I watch regularly. The others are Cold Case Files, Law & Order SVU, and Sue Thomas F. B. Eye. I enjoy detective shows a lot, can you tell? XD

Well, time for me to get ready to listen to the Women's volleyball match on the radio. Today they're playing SMU in the first round of the WAC volleyball tournament. Hope they win! Ja ne! ^_^

No More TV!

My brother comes home from Las Vegas tonight so no more cable TV at night anymore! Gotta go back to my cute little baby TV in my bedroom. -__-" Oh well, at least I can watch DVD's when there's nothing on regular TV, but I'm gonna miss watching all those forensic shows on Discovery and Court TV!

Sports Update: The UH football team got their butts kicked up and down the field by Fresno State on Friday. Sad! The team just sucks this year. I don't understand it! On the bright side, the Women's volleyball team went undefeated in the regular season! The almost lost to Nevada (they were down 2-0!), but rallied to take the game! I think the football team is doing so bad because the Women's Volleyball team is doing so well. The football team was supposed to be really good this year and the volleyball team was supposed to be a little weak, but the opposite is happening!

I'm almost done watching Gaoranger. 2 more discs then the movie and I'm done. Next up will be Abaranger. I also got to see the next two eps of Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi. I can't believe some of this stuff actually happens to people! Really scary! I hope those kinds of things never happen to me! Still waiting for the next tape of Kamen Rider Blade to come in! I gotta see what happened to Aikawa Hajime! Also waiting for the 10/31 show of Sekai Ururun to come in since Shirakawa Yujiro is in that episode! Come on tapes come in already!!!!!! ^_^"

Tomorrow is gonna be very busy at work since it'll be payday again! I'm kinda dreading going to work tomorrow. The phone is gonna be ringing off the hook again! *Sigh!*

Holiday!

Today I had a nice rest! It was Veteran's Day so my boss gave me the day off! Ureshiiiiiiii!!!! I spent the day lazing around a lot. Watched some dramas, played video games, took a nice long nap!

I also cleaned up my room a little. It got a much needed dusting, put my manga away on my bookshelf (I need another bookshelf!), and put my DVD's away on the media shelf (I also need another shelf for my DVD's!).

It was pretty quiet today since both my brother and sister weren't home today. My poor sister had to work today, and my brother left this morning to go to Los Angeles. He's meeting some friends who live there, then they're all going to drive down to Las Vegas. He won't be home until Monday which means I get the TV with cable until then! YAY!!!! That means I can watch some of my old drama videos and shows that I don't normally get to watch on cable! Hmmmm...think I'll go do that right now! Ja ne!! ^_^

Been really busy lately! Our refrigerator broke down last week so my mom decided to buy some new appliances. She got a new refrigerator, stove and microwave oven. This meant that we had to clean out the kitchen as well as the refrigerator. Thursday night my sister, brother and I had to go through all the junk my mom had accumulated. We finally just decided to dump everything out to save time! Talk about a mess! We took out at least seven bags of rubbish! -__-;

Friday the appliances came. The guys who were supposed to install everything were supposed to come at 5:00, but didn't come until almost 6:00. To make things worse, the stove my mom bought was bigger than our old one (nobody makes that small size anymore apparently) so they had to cut a bigger hole in the counter to make the stove fit. They didn't leave until after 9:30 pm! After that, we were all so tired we just ate ochazuke for dinner and then I went to bed at 10:30.

At least the kitchen is clean now, and because we dumped a lot of the leftovers the refrigerator has lots of room in it now. The appliance guys also took my mom's old a/c so there's more space in the storage room also.

Saturday Timmy Chang broke the passing record (finally!). Even better, they won the football game! The receivers on the team have got to get some sticky hands or something. They're awful at catching passes! They go on the road to Fresno next, so I'm feeling another loss coming up. The team has been really bad on the road this year.

Started to watch Hyaku Jyuu Sentai Gaoranger this weekend. Kaneko Noboru is really handsome, and the guys in this show are pretty funny! I'm enjoying it, though I think I enjoyed Hurricanger more since Shirakawa Yujiro and Kyo Nobuo were in it.

Still have to watch my Gakkou E Ikou tape. Hopefully, tonight I'll be able to watch it.

Well, back to work now! Mata ne! ^_^

I am so disappointed! Four more years of stupid Bush! I can't believe the people in this country! After starting an unnecessary war, increasing the nation's deficit, and filling the pockets of the rich and powerful, we got him for FOUR MORE STINKING YEARS! Unbelievable! X(

Well, at least all the campaining crap is finally over! No more sign holders on the side of the road, no more political ads on TV, and hopefully no more phone calls to my office about Mufi!

Okay, got that all out. Going back to watch Shirakawa Yujiro in Tenbatsuya Kurenai to make me feel better! Bye-bye!! ^_^

Where Has The Time Gone?

I can't believe it! It's already November! It's almost the end of the year! Where has all the time gone? It's gone by so quickly, and there's still so much to do! 2 more months and tax season will start all over again! AAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!XP

On Saturday we took my brother to Stuart Anderson's Cattle Company at Ward Warehouse Shopping Mall for his birthday dinner. Bad idea! That night there was a Halloween event there so it took forever to find parking! We got to the restaurant 10 minutes late, but we were seated right away. I had prime rib with onions and mushrooms! Delicious! My brother also had the prime rib, but the next biggest cut, and also ended up eating the rest of the appetizers that we didn't finish (there went his diet!).

On the way home it was majorly pouring!! When we passed by near Waikiki we noticed that a lot of streets were blocked off. We found out later that there was really bad flooding in Waikiki! That's how bad it was raining! It also got flooded in Manoa, and many buildings on the University of Hawaii campus got flooded! The weather is just majorly weird right now!

Tomorrow is Election Day so I'll be going in to work a little late. I'm gonna go vote first then go to the office. I'll be so glad when this is all over! Today the phone kept ringing and ringing and most of the calls were from people helping with Mufi's campaign. Drove me nuts!! Trying to do payroll's and answering the telephone at the same time is just impossible! To top it off I had to go deliver tax payments to the tax department and the banks! Nagai ichinichi deshita!

There were good things that happened along the way too however! I finished watching the TV series of Ninpu Sentai Hurrincanger! I still have to find one more special and a movie then I'm done (awwwww, no more Shirakawa Yujiro and Kyo Nobuo! :(), then I have to start looking for Gaoranger or Abaranger. I might go with Gaoranger since Kaneko Noboru is in it, but it's kind of old so I might have a harder time finding it. I might have to go to Nippon Video for it.

Kamen Rider Blade FINALLY came in! The storyline is getting really interesting! Darn tape ended at an interesting part and left me hanging! Now I gotta wait a whole month again! XP

I also finally got to start watching Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi. Tsukamoto Takashi and Ishigaki Yuma were in two different stories on the second episode! They're so cute! The stories are so freaky! Good thing it was still daytime when I watched it!^_^"

I also received the DVD's of Tenbatsuya Kurenai from Groink (Yay! More Shirakawa Yujiro and his buff arms!) and all the discs seem to be working fine! I'm sooooooo happy!!! I really liked this show since the characters in the show were really interesting (and did I mention that Shirakawa Yujiro and his buff arms are in this show?) and the stories were really interesting as well. Oh, yes and Shirakawa Yujiro and his buff arms are in this show! XD THANK YOU GROINK!!!

Well, time for me to start getting ready to go to bed so I can get up early and go vote! DON'T FORGET TO VOTE EVERYBODY! Oyasuminasai! ^_^

Just wanna say HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN!!!! Today is my younger brother's BD. He's already 26 years old! Man, do I feel old! Since everyone is really busy right now, we won't be taking him out to dinner until Saturday. Good thing the football team is on the road this week! I already gave him his BD present last week. He wanted the new Utada Hikaru album, so I got it for him. Hope he liked it!

Quick sports update: The Wahine volleyball team won on the road yesterday to stay undefeated! YAY!! My alma mater's girls' volleyball team made it past the first round of the state playoffs! YAY! The Red Sox won the World Series! WHATEVER!!

Work update: So far, the past few days have been fairly calm except for the little episode where I had to go running around getting a tax clearance for one of our clients because my boss was sooooooo last minute again! Wasted 1 whole hour of my time sitting around at the Department of Taxation waiting for the clearance! *BLEAH!*

Other than that, it's been okay. After next week my boss should be able to get more work done since the elections will be over. The phone won't ring half as much and he won't have to leave early to go hold signs out on the streets anymore.

It's almost Saturday! Hope the Kamen Rider Blade tape is in this time! Still have another 5 tapes of Hurricanger to watch, and hopefully the new dramas will start coming in. I really wanna watch Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi! Well, time to go back to work! Ja ne!! ^_^

Been so busy I haven't really had time to get on the computer for the past few days. My boss came back from his short vacation and the phone's been ringing off the hook! I wish I could get an answering machine! Also, he's been giving me a looooot of work to do. Phooey! Now I'm going to fall behind on MY work again, just when I was close to catching up!!

This past weekend I didn't do much again. Watched the Wahine volleyball team stay undefeated (YAY!!!!), watched the football team win on Saturday (a miracle!!) and watched a lot of videos!

Watched 4 more tapes of Hurricanger (this show is actually pretty funny!) and finally got to see the episode of Gakkou E Ikou where Mino Monta has to sing at the V6 concert. My goodness, that costume! Hilarious!!!

I think Shirakawa Yujiro is becoming my new obsession along with Morimoto Ryouji. Those two guys are really good looking, they seem like really fun guys and it doesn't hurt that they got some damn hot looking buff arms! XD

Well, today is my last day of peace and quiet since my boss will be returning from his short vacation tomorrow. I actually got quite a bit of work done while he was gone since the phone didn't ring as often. I dread coming to work tomorrow since the phone will be ringing off the hook again, and my boss will be giving me more tax returns to do (yes, he still hasn't finished everyone's tax returns yet!). :(

Finally, I can get some rest! Friday was crazy! I had to chase after clients for their payroll taxes, then had to run to all the banks to deposit the taxes and the go to the State Tax Office to deposit the State payroll taxes. I also had to work on a whole bunch of last minute tax returns for my boss. I ended up working until 7:30 pm! XO

Yesterday I had to work from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm so I could help my boss finish up a few more tax returns as well as catch up on some of my own work. He had to go to a meeting for about an hour which is why I ended up working an extra two hours. I had to wait for him to come back to review the returns I had inputted, and then had to put them together before I left.

After work, my sister and I went to rent videos. The dramas that I want to watch haven't started to come in yet. I think maybe next week it'll start to come in. The big disappoinment for me was Kamen Rider Blade didn't come in yet. Hopefully, it'll come in next week, I really want to watch this cuz the story is getting really interesting. Instead I ended up watching 3 more tapes of Hurricanger (OMG! Shirakawa Yujiro has got some ARMS!!!!), Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi Summer Special and Ace Wo Nerae Special. I'm almost finished with Hurricanger, and I guess I'll try Gaoranger next. Can't wait for season two of Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi to start! I love ghost stories! Also, they showed previews for the first show and Ishigaki Yuma is going to be in one of the stories! Woo Hoo!

Just finished all my chores for today! I'm so tired! After this I'm gonna eat some lunch, then go play a little more of my Garasu No Bara, then maybe take a short nap! Ja mou ikimasu kara ato de ne!!! ^_^

Busy Busy!

It's been so busy this week! 2nd extensions for income taxes expire tomorrow so my boss has been flying tax returns at me! He's so last minute, it drives me nuts! If he spent half as much time working on tax returns as he does talking on the phone, he would've finished all the extentions a long time ago!

It wouldn't be so bad if all I did was punch in the information on the computer, but I also have payrolls to do, answer the phone, help clients when they come in to pick up their returns, work on business returns, put together returns that are done being reviewed and run my bosses errands! I seriously wish he would hire another person to help out in the office!

I guess I shouldn't be to hard on my boss. He actually is a really nice guy and he's not really a slave driver or anything. He's really behind this year because his father has dementia now and he goes to see his father about 4 to 5 days a week in the afternoons. He's also the treasurer for Mufi Hanneman, and that's also taking up a lot of his time. He has to attend meetings, fund raisers and go do sign waving during the mornings.

At least it's almost the weekend, and after Friday I'll have a little more breathing room until the end of the year when chaos will break out in my office again! I'll also be able to watch more videos again! Looking forward to seeing all the new dramas coming out!

Just received my Amazon.co.jp order the other day! Eight new comics, 3 new magazines, 4 DVD's and 3 CD's. I also got my Morimoto Ryouji calendar yesterday (Woo hoo! Nice buff arms!)and will be picking up another 3 or 4 magazines from Hakubundo on Saturday. I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO POOR!!!!!!!!

I have got to learn to curb my spending! I'm buying just too much stuff! What's worse is, I found 3 more manga series that I like, so I'm going to be buying even more comics! >.<

Come on somebody! Please take pity on me and let me come into a whooooole lotta money! Maybe I gotta go rob a bank or something!

My life is so sad! All I do is go to work then come home. At home I either watch TV, listen to music or read my comic books. The only time I really get out of the house is when I go on vacation or when my friends come home from the mainland or outer islands. No wonder I need so many toys to keep me occupied! But then I only have myself to blame for being a homebody. :P

Catch Up Time

Just got back from my grandmother's 7th year service. The only thing I hate about Buddhist ceremonies is that they're soooooo long. This one was no exception. I know I should be more patient, but these services always put me to sleep! Oh well, at least I got to see some of my family again! We all went for dinner at Hungry Lion after the service and I ate breakfast instead! : P

It was a good weekend for UH sports. The UH Football team finally won it's first game on Saturday by beating Tulsa 44-16! The defense actually kicked Tulsa's butt! They sacked the quarterback I don't know how many times, and they put a hurting on some of the receivers and rushers! The women's soccer team also beat Tulsa 2-0. Natasha Kai is tearing it up, she is really awesome! Also the women's volleyball team is now ranked #4 in the nation, moving up from #6 after their two road game victories! Way to go girls!!

Finally finished watching Kamen Rider 555 on Sunday. I don't think I'm going to buy this series. Just really didn't like the storyline, and the characters irritated me for some reason. The movie wasn't too bad though. Also finished watching Minami-Kun No Koibito & Aa Tantei Jimusho. Minami-Kun's ending was pretty predictable, but also kinda sad. Aa Tantei's ending was pretty predictable also, but cute. Watched the rerun of ep 28 of Shinsengumi on Sunday. This was the Ikeda-ya Incident episode. It was pretty exciting. Shingo's acting is starting to look much better and his swordsmanship in this episode was really good! I'm getting more and more impressed. Joe just looks damn good in this drama! Tonight I get to see ep. 29. I have a feeling Yamanami is going to be gone soon! : (

My Morimoto Ryouji calendar is on it's way!!! Yay! Now I'll have two calendars to look at in the mornings. My V6 calendar & my Morimoto Ryouji calender! It's good to be able to see hot guys first thing in the morning don't you think? Makes for a good start to the day! ; )

Ahhhhh Friday! Just 1/2 more day till I can park my butt in front of the TV and watch videos again! Hoping to finish watching Kamen Rider 555 and Minami-Kun No Koibito. I also hope the new tape of Gakkou E Ikou came in and I gotta catch up on The Tetsuwan Dash! as well. Woo Hoo, lots of stuff for me to watch this weekend!!!

Also got another UH football game tomorrow vs. Tulsa. Hopefully the team will get it together, but I'm thinking not since there's been a lot of injuries (I feel stress coming on!!). The women's volleyball team got their first road win yesterday against Fresno and will be playing Nevada next! Kick their butts girls!!!

Next week I should be receiving my order from Amazon.co.jp that contains a whole bunch of comics! I'm waiting in particular for my Combination (6) which FINALLY came out!! I've been waiting forever for this manga to come out! Also got my Bleach (14) in there also, which I'm really antsy to read. I love this comic! It's so damn funny! Ahhhhh, I want my manga already!!!! :P

Oh yeah, I added some links to the official websites of the guys in my stalking list so if anyone wants to see what kind of bizarre taste in guys I have just click on their name and you can see what most of them look like. If anybody got any good links for Ando Masanobu or Won Bin let me know cuz I couldn't find any official site for them.

Time Flies...When You're Short On Cash

I can't believe it's almost the end of September already! Where has all the time gone? Only three more months till the new year, and the start of tax season again! *YUCK!!* But on the bright side, only eight more months till my sister and I MIGHT be able to go to Japan again! (Note, I stress the word MIGHT!)

There's still so much things to do. I haven't given my room a good cleaning for three months now! The dust is just piling up on everything! I gotta get rid of some of my old books too. I want to sell them to a used book store cuz I can sure use the extra cash! I've been buying too many CD's, DVD's and manga!

I'm always so short of cash nowadays! It doesn't help that I have a new obsession with Kamen Rider Blade. Just started buying the DVD's for the series. *Sigh* Doesn't help that the guys in this series are so damn handsome! Also decided that I would buy all the other Kamen Rider series (Kuuga, Agito & Ryuuki) one disc per month, so that's like AT LEAST 4 DVD's every month till the end of this year when I'll have all the Kamen Rider Kuuga DVD's (Yay! FINALLY!). The only series I'm not buying is 555. I just can't get into that series! I watched discs 6 through 9 over the weekend. That's 8 hours worth of watching & I watched it in less than 2 hours. How, you may ask? Because I only bothered to watch the last episode on each disk, and I was perfectly okay with it! Sad!!

Also been buying lots of manga! I buy about 4 to 5 new books a month! I keep reading more and more new manga. My list keeps growing because I keep finding new suspense/horror/mystery manga to read! Doushiyou, I can't stop reading!!! ^_^"

Looks like I may have to find myself a part-time job! *YECH!* Either that or cut down on my online shopping....TSURAI!! YABAI!! TABUN DEKINAI! -__-''

Computer Illiteracy Sucks!

After joining JDorama I've come to realize how totally computer illiterate I am! I knew nothing about image hosting sites, blogs, bittorents, or photo imaging programs then, and only know a bit more now. Anything I know about the internet I've learned from everyone at the V6 Squad Forum and JDorama.

I really need to take some computer classes to learn about all this stuff as well as buy myself my own computer system. Right now I share a computer with my sister and my brother. The HD doesn't have much room on it since my brother uses it school and the computer is in my mom's room so anytime we want to use it we have to sit in the "refrigerator". I'm trying to save up enough money to buy my own computer with a scanner so that I can start learning how to make my own wallpaper. I asked someone from the V6 Squad to make me a wallpaper from this pic I saw in one of my magazines. I know she's so busy all the time and I still asked her to do this for me since I don't have a scanner or photoshop! I'm such a dope! The only thing I did in return for her was to buy a copy of the magazine for her to keep. I gotta find something else to do for her!

*Sigh* If only I had more money (actually I would have more money if I stopped buying so much CD's, DVD's, magazines and manga!) I could hurry up & buy my own computer!

On another note, any CSI fans out there? Tonight is the season premiere! Can't wait! I love detective dramas and CSI is my favorite! Well, guess I'd better get back to work before my boss catches me doing this! XD

Weekend Update

The UH sports teams gave me lots of stress this weekend. The football team got their butts kicked by Rice (what the hell is up with them this year?!), but the women's volleyball team and soccer team won. The football team was doing good up until the 4th quarter, then they just lost it! Unbelievable. I'm not watching anymore football games this year. They're giving me high blood pressure!

I'm slowly getting through Kamen Rider 555. This weekend I watched discs 3, 4 & 5, only 7 more discs in the series to go, then I gotta watch the movie. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time watching this series. I'm thinking it's either the battle scenes are too boring or the characters are just not appealing to me. It's not like there aren't any good looking guys in it, I mean Handa Kento is kinda cute. He looks like a mix between Kimura Takuya and Hosaka Naoki. Eh, maybe it'll grow on me more. Hopefully the next tape of Kamen Rider Blade will come in this weekend so I can watch that along with another 555 disc. I'm still debating whether to buy this series or not. I'm buying all the other series, but I just can't seem to get into this one so I'm thinking about skipping it.

Also watched eps 9 & 10 of Minami-Kun No Koibito. I usually don't watch this type of drama, but for some reason it's got me hooked. Must be Nino. I usually end up watching his dramas for some reason, even if it's a type of drama I don't usually watch. Okada Junichi does that to me too.

Other than that, I read some manga (my sister recommended Air Gear to me so I read a couple of books) and played video games. Trying out this game called Ghosthunter . It's a good game, but it's really hard to control. You have to use one stick to control your walking and the other stick to control the aim of the gun. You have to be seriously ambidexterous to play this game!!

Today it was back to the grind, but it was a little interesting. They're filming a police drama called Hawaii around the corner from my office building. I took a peek during lunch, but there weren't many people around at the time (shoots!). My sister and I are eating dinner by ourselves since my mom & brother will be going to some kind of meeting for Kalani band. We'll probably just end up eating ochazuke. Why cook when you don't have to?

I Need A Break!!!

It's been a hectic past few days! So much to do in so little time! I've been running around town like crazy running errands for my boss since Tuesday and my feet hurt! Also had lots of payroll to do since yesterday to the 20th are paydays. Right now it's quiet (since I got most of my payrolls done!) so I'm taking a break!

Tuesday was crazy! My boss never paid his telephone bill so the phone wasn't working (2 hours of peace & quiet!). He made ME go down to pay his bill for him! Then I come back to the office and he asks me to go deliver some tax returns. AAAAARRRRGGGHHH! What's worse is that it's been so HOT lately! *Bleah!* I came back with sore feet and all sweaty! Yuck!

Yesterday all payroll taxes were due so I was running around picking up checks from various clients. Then I had to go take the payments to the bank. My boss had some late payments come in so I had to go to some banks twice. I was so tired last night I fell asleep at 9:00! (Boy, I must be getting really old!)

Today I've been doing payroll after payroll. Tomorrow I'll probably have another bunch of payrolls to do. *Sigh*, I need another vacation!

At least I managed to find some time to add a tagboard and I added more names to my stalking list (Yikes! I need to stop watching so much TV!). It's also almost Saturday which means I can watch more videos again! Mou sukoshi ganbarimasu!!!^_^"

A 10 Year Old Mind In A 38 Year Old Body

People who visit my blog and read my side bar probably wonder what kind of nut case I must be what with all the kiddy things there like my manga and animes. Yes, I admit it! I'm a kid at heart! I'm not trying to be young, I just like this kind of stuff!

I think part of it is the way I grew up. My parents got divorced right after my younger brother was born which was when I was 13 years old. As a result, my sister and I ended up helping with the baby as well as getting more chores piled on us. Being the oldest, I had to watch my younger siblings often. This led to less play time when I was young, and as a result I'm doing all my playing NOW!

Another part of it is, my family as a whole. There are absolutely no serious adults on my mother's side of the family. Everybody is always laughing, teasing each other and cracking jokes. We all get together at least 3 times a year and those times are always filled with a lot of laughter and playing.

I also don't feel any pressure to get married and have kids. I'm the oldest, but my younger brother is the one who will carry on the family name so I leave it up to him to provide my mom with grandkids *he he*! Also, this is kinda strange, only one of the grandkids in my family is married and has children. My two boy cousins have no girlfriends, and are not even actively looking for any, my younger brother and younger sister have no significant other either. My brother is sorta kinda looking (not very hard), and my sister is like me, doesn't really feel the need to have a boyfriend. The youngest grandchild, who is a girl, is busy trying to get her master's degree so she doesn't have time for a boyfriend at the moment. Hmmm....now that I think about it, my family is really weird! Anyway, with no pressure to get married, I have more time to indulge in my playing!

For me, my comics, anime, music, video games, etc. is my escape. It's my way of relaxing after a hectic day at work or after doing all my chores on the weekends. It keeps my blood pressure down and helps keeps me sane by helping me forget about all the stress of the day.

It also helps keep me close to my siblings. My sister and brother also enjoy the same things I do. We may not have the exact same tastes, but at least we have something in common to talk about while we eat dinner together, be it a new anime that we're watching, a video game that we're planning on buying, or even a new CD that we bought.

Well, I guess that explains the kid in me. Don't you feel jealous of me now? Well, don't just sit there, go out and buy yourself some toys!!!!!!^_^

Let's Get It Started!

I must say it's been an interesting past couple of days. My boss is the treasurer for one of the mayoral candidates here. Yesterday there was a mayoral debate in the theater across the street from our office building. One of the candidate's supporters were making so much noise I couldn't concentrate on my work. I decided that it would be a good time to try and make my own blog.

Since last night, I have been fooling around with my site! As you can see I've changed the color scheme to purple, which is my favorite color. I also finally figured out how to link people's blogs to my site. I've asked my friends from the V6 Squad forum for suggestions for a new template and will be checking out Mixx's suggestion (Thanks Mixx!!). I'm not sure if I'm gonna change the template for sure right now (I'm afraid of totally killing my site!*sweat*), but I think once I get more confident in using my blog I will eventually want to try for a change.

Ever since joining JDorama I've had a lot of firsts. JDorama was the first forum I ever joined, I also learned about image hosting and finally opened up my own account (another first!) so that I wouldn't be direct linking to anybody's pics. I met people with the same interests as I have besides my sister. I've been meeting people from many places around the world as well as my country. I'm sooooo glad I joined JDorama!! It's been a really fun and enriching experience for me.

Hopefully I'll remember to update tomorrow, but probably not since it will be Saturday. Saturday mornings I have to work, but in the afternoon I go to the Japanese video rental store and end up spending the rest of the day and night parked in front of my TV watching videos. I still gotta finish watching Kamen Rider 555! Anyways, guess I'll end it here for today!

Big Leap

My first time at this. I've never had a blog before so I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Most of my new friends from the V6 Stalker Squad have their own blogsites, so I thought I would give this a try. This old lady is venturing into very unknown territory! Kinda scary, especially since I'm so CI!
